Understand Just One Thing

Just one concept needs to be understood, believed and lived by each person. Just one concept which, if understood can eliminate poverty, and will guarantee peace on earth, forever. This concept is the collective consciousness.

Life is not as it appears; we are not seeing what is really in front of us. We see many individual people inhabiting the same earth; we see people, animals and plants, all living separately with different needs and wants. We do not question what we see; visual proof is the Holy Grail, its fool-proof, right? Wrong.

You and I are not separate individuals, contrary to what may appear on the surface. We have the ability to think, talk and move separately however we exist within the one consciousness. The lack of understanding or lack of awareness of this fundamental truth is the sole offender trapping us in this state of destructive limbo. We willingly allow a certain hell to thrive amongst us because we are solely focused on something that doesn’t even exist. Me.

By concentrating all of my energy on me; my life, my goals, my car, my promotion, my family, my happiness, I will never be Happy. I may experience the emotion of happiness, but I will never be truly happy. We need to grasp the idea that I am not an individual person, living alongside other individuals. We are a one being with a collective consciousness, a ebing which has the ability to move seperately. My gains need to be your gains otherwise there is no point, I will be no closer to happiness because one person’s gain does nothing for the good of our collective consciousness.

We need to think of 'Me' as the universal, Me as All, All in the collective consciousness and thus would annul any value in personal gains, possessions and wealth unless it was for the good of all people. What would be the point of spending my life striving to bring happiness to one person when there are millions of others in our consciousness living desperate, unhappy lives? If you have broken toes you cannot walk, even though you have many able, healthy limbs.

Tunnel Vision

Our society has been constructing a railway line for many many years now. This railway carries our entire population. Every year more planks go down, more nails are pummeled into wood and more steel is lay. The people are proud of their hard work, backs are patted and workers praised, hard work should reap a prosperous future.

However, where is this track taking us? How was this route evaluated and decided upon? With everyone’s head down who is left surveying the land, the construction, and our mileage?

We all encourage the construction, and spend our lives pursuing our goal to go further and faster than those have before. With a perpetual list of tasks who has time to question our direction? You would surely be left behind.

jack, just like everyone else was pushing, pulling, plodding. Until one day he had a glimpse. He realized he was merely being told he should be happy, but deep down he knew he wasn't. Everyone else seemed to be, but when he was honest with himself he knew the truth. He didn’t have a clear idea of where he was headed, but he was off the train. Now suddenly directionless and alone he felt a new sensation, he was a little scared because of all the uncertainty however he was excited! jack was bold and courageous enough to stand out on his own regardless of what he was told he should be doing, or what he was told should make him happy. It now dawned on him he wanted to be left behind.

What's your motivation for life?

To live a peaceful and meaningful life there should only be one motivating force driving all of your intentions and your actions, the wheels which keep you in motion. This one compelling force, is Happiness.

Not selfish, pleasure driven happiness which only momentarily paints a smile on your face, I am talking about the all encompassing, unwavering Happiness; True Happiness.

True Happiness is not an emotion; it is a state of being. It has not been brought on by buying a new car, gaining a promotion or rise in salary, it has not even been brought on by falling in love. That is because it cannot be brought on at all, and conversely it cannot float away due to circumstance. Happiness does not weather or disperse when something bad happens. It is an impenetrable state of being.

Take a moment to ponder your actions, what drives you and your purpose each and everyday. On the surface it may not appear you are striving for happiness at every turn, however if you look deeper, analyse every minute action, whether they appear good, bad or detrimental, you will see you were seeking happiness, even though you probably didn’t reach it. I know I haven’t.
